Kakubin Yellow Label is a Japanese blended whisky from Suntory, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It has long been used as a base for cocktails. The nose is of fresh cereals and honeycomb ice cream with a light spiciness. Honey carries on to the palate, joined by citrus peel, peppercorn and cinnamon, and the finish returns to honeyed barley.
