Suntory Special Reserve is a Japanese blend of single malts from the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries, matured in American oak casks. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV.
It was first released in 1969 to mark Suntory's 70th anniversary, and the line has remained a familiar name in Japanese whisky since.
It is described as having a touch of fruit, with banana, cooked apple and pear, followed by a delicate, spicy and fruity finish.
