This is a special Suntory bottling of Hakushu 12 Years, released for the 100th anniversary of the Hakushu distillery.
The single malt is a vatting of malt whiskies matured for at least 12 years in a variety of casks. It has a fresh, gently smoky profile, which is attributed to the distillery's setting in a forest in the Japanese mountains and its use of local mountain water. It is bottled at 43% ABV.
