Suntory World Whisky Ao (70cl)

Suntory World Whisky Ao is a blended whisky launched in 2019, in a 70cl bottle. It combines whiskies from Suntory's own distilleries around the world, covering the Scotch, Irish, Bourbon, Canadian and Japanese styles. The pentagonal bottle reflects this, with each side standing for one of those five styles. Ao means blue in Japanese and appears prominently on the label. The nose is sweet, with ripe pineapple, vanilla bean, a subtle earthiness and a hint of peppery spice. On the palate come honey and orchard fruit, with peppery spice mid-palate. The finish fades through sweetness and spice into a gentle smokiness.
