Talisker – 175th Anniversary Limited Edition 2005 (70cl, 45.8%)

A single malt released in 2005 to mark the 175th anniversary of the Talisker distillery on the Isle of Skye. It is a limited edition of 60,000 bottles, at 45.8% in a 70cl bottle. The tasting notes mention soft peat smoke, sea salt, honey, dried fruit and spicy pepper. The palate is full and elegant, and the long, warming finish brings together smoke, sweetness and maritime influences.
