Talisker 25 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky, bottled in 2011 at 45.8% ABV.
The nose is maritime, sweet and spicy, with citrus fruit, apricots, peaches, ripe apples, honey, marzipan, vanilla, tobacco and oak spice over a delicate hint of smoke. The palate is soft and oily, with sweet citrus, vanilla, honey, apricots and plums, a slightly tropical edge, pepper and oak spice.
The finish stays sweet and spicy with a maritime note, apricot, citrus, honey, gentle smoke and oak spice.
