A 25-year-old single malt from the Talisker distillery on the Isle of Skye, bottled in 2013 in a limited edition of 5,772 bottles. It is bottled at 45.8% in a 70cl bottle.
The long maturation is said to balance maritime freshness and subtle sweetness with Talisker's peppery spice. The notes mention soft peat smoke, sea salt, honey, citrus, ripe fruit and oak.
The finish is long and warming, with lingering smoke, citrus and a hint of sea salt.
