Talisker 57° North is a single malt from the Talisker distillery on the Isle of Skye, bottled in 2012 at 57% in a 70cl bottle. The name refers to the 57th parallel north, where the distillery is located. Tasting notes describe an intense, maritime whisky with pronounced peat smoke, sea salt, black pepper and fresh citrus. It is full-bodied on the palate, and the finish is long, warming and spicy.
