Talisker Dark Storm is a single malt from the Talisker distillery on the Isle of Skye, bottled at 45.8% in a one-litre bottle and released for the travel retail market.
It was matured in heavily charred oak casks, which give it an intense, pronounced smoky character.
Tasting notes list peat smoke, sea salt, black pepper, caramel and spiced oak. The finish is long, warming and intense, with lingering smoke and maritime notes.
