Talisker – Parley

Talisker Parley is a single malt from the Isle of Skye, finished in Cognac casks. It is made in partnership with Parley, with a stated aim to rewild over 100 million square metres of ocean forest, and the bottle has an eco-conscious design. The whisky is golden, and the Cognac casks are said to add to the distillery's maritime character without overpowering it. The nose is lapsang souchong tea sweetened with honey, with lemon juice, yellow peaches, soft smoke and a hint of menthol. On the palate come Szechuan pepper, citrus, oysters and a touch of sweetness.
