A single malt from Talisker, the distillery on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. It is matured in a combination of refill and toasted American oak casks.
Gentle peat smoke is balanced by fresh citrus, warming pepper and maritime notes. It won Gold at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in 2015.
On the palate there is citrus, sweet smoke, peppery spice and sea salt, leading to a long, warming finish.
