Talisker – Special Release 2023

Talisker Special Release 2023 is a cask strength Island single malt from Diageo's annual Special Releases. It belongs to the 2023 Spirited Xchange series, which celebrates cultural exchange and takes its inspiration from the Portuguese seafarers who carried Port casks across the oceans. The whisky was matured and finished in a combination of Ruby, White and Tawny Port casks, and is bottled at natural cask strength. The Port casks add fruit sweetness while the distillery's smoke and coastal salinity remain. The nose brings ripe plum, dark chocolate and peat smoke. On the palate come summer berries, warming cinnamon, sea salt and black pepper.
