Talisker The Distillers Edition is a single malt whisky from the Talisker distillery on the Isle of Skye, bottled at 45.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
After its main maturation, the whisky received additional time in American oak casks that had been pre-treated with Amoroso sherry.
It is described as rich and elegant, with soft peat smoke, sea salt, dried fruit, caramel, dark chocolate and black pepper. The finish is long and warming, balancing maritime spice, smoke and refined sherry sweetness.
