Talisker Wilder Seas Parley - Cognac Cask Finish

Talisker Wilder Seas is a collaboration between the Carbost distillery on the Isle of Skye and Parley for the Oceans. It starts from peated malted barley and is finished in Cognac casks. The finish adds fruit and a little vanilla to the smoky character of the malt. The nose brings malt and fruit bread with dark berries and a touch of tobacco. On the palate it is salty and maritime, with sultanas, figs and gentle peat smoke. The finish is long, smoky and fruity.
