Teeling 13 Year Old is an Irish single grain whiskey bottled at 50% ABV. It was first matured in ex-bourbon barrels and then finished in Bordeaux red wine casks.
The cask combination adds depth, and the whiskey keeps an accessible character while gaining structure and body from its strength.
In the glass it is round and aromatic, with ripe red fruit, vanilla, soft spices and a subtle note of oak.
