Teeling 15 Year Old is an Irish single grain whiskey bottled in 2023 at 50%. It matured for a long period in ex-bourbon casks, then was finished in Sauvignon Blanc wine casks.
The nose is fresh and vibrant, with green apple, white grapes and citrus zest, supported by vanilla, light floral notes and a soft grainy note. The palate is silky and full-bodied, with honey, pear, vinous notes and a refined spiciness. The finish is long and clean, with lingering fruit and a soft, dry texture.
