This is a 15 year old Irish single grain whiskey from Teeling, finished in Sauvignon Blanc casks. It is bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle and is non-chill filtered.
The nose is citrus peel, fresh grapefruit, orchard flowers and crisp fruit. On the palate honeyed fruit meets spice, with juicy melon, green apple and a little honey, then vanilla from the oak and a light touch of green pepper. The finish is slow, as dry oak and spice fade and more sweet, honeyed fruit comes through.
