Teeling 21 Year Old Rising Reserve No. 3 (46%)

Teeling 21 Year Old Rising Reserve No. 3 is an Irish single malt, the third release in the Rising Reserve series. It spent eighteen years in ex-bourbon barrels, then three more finishing in ruby Port casks. It is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered, in an edition of 6,000 bottles. The nose offers caramel, red fruits, ripe cherry and a hint of sandalwood, with plum and jammy fruit building over vanilla and butterscotch. The palate is velvety and full-bodied, with milk chocolate, brown sugar, dark fruit and a thread of oak spice. The finish is long and rounded, with spice fading slowly.
