Teeling Rising Reserve No 3 is a 21 year old Irish single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46%. It is the third release in the Rising Reserve series, limited to 6000 bottles.
The whisky spent 18 years in ex-bourbon casks and a further 3 years in Ruby Port casks.
The nose is full of red fruit, orange, vanilla, dried fruit and sandalwood. The palate is creamy, with brown sugar, baked apple, figs, plums, nuts and wood. The finish is medium in length and drier, with red fruit, oak and spice.
