This is Teeling Blackpitts, a peated Irish single malt of amber colour, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV.
It was matured in bourbon and Sauternes casks.
The nose combines smoky barbecue aromas with toffee and orange peel. The palate is sweet with apple, joined by smoky oak and honey, while pear and spice linger in the background. The finish brings hints of caramel and pineapple.
