Teeling – Crystal Single Malt (70cl, 46%)

Teeling Crystal is an Irish single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration. It is a limited edition of 18,000 bottles. The mash bill combines distillers malt and crystal malted barley, and the wash is fermented with both distillers yeast and white wine yeast. The spirit is triple distilled and aged in virgin American oak barrels. The nose brings green apple and stewed pear with hints of brown sugar, vanilla and light oak shavings. A burst of toffee coats the palate, with apple pie spice, fresh pastries and honeyed sweetness. The finish is long, with soft cinnamon spice and caramel.
