This is an Irish whiskey from Teeling's Sommelier Selection, finished in red wine casks from the Douro Old Vines. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, with an outturn of 24,000 bottles.
The nose is soft, with plums, nuts, redcurrants, syrup and cinnamon. The palate is creamy, returning to red fruit alongside grapefruit, cherries and a warm spiciness. The finish is medium in length, with tannins and dried fruit.
