This is the fifth bottling in the Renaissance Series from Teeling, an 18 year old Irish single malt bottled in 2022 at 46% ABV. The outturn was 9000 bottles.
The whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks and was finished in ex-calvados casks.
The nose brings candied apple, cinnamon, baked pears and fresh mint. On the palate there are apple pie, golden raisins, pink peppercorns and jasmine tea. The finish carries maple syrup, dried cherries and woody tannins.
