A blend of grain and malt Irish whiskey from Teeling, part of its Small Batch Series and a collaboration with the Venezuelan rum house Santa Teresa. It is a limited edition, bottled at 46% without chill-filtration in a 70cl bottle.
The whiskey first matured in ex-bourbon casks, then received a further period in casks that previously held Santa Teresa's solera rum.
The nose offers caramel, honey and dark chocolate with barley and fresh orchard fruit. On the palate vanilla and honey meet light spice, with apricots, figs and other dried fruit. The long finish brings dried fruit, cinnamon, creamy barley and pastry, fading into lasting oak tannins.
