Teeling Single Malt is an Irish whiskey made from 100% malted barley and bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill-filtered. It is a blend of malts of different ages, and some of the oldest components date back to 1991.
The whiskey is matured in five types of cask: sherry, port, madeira, white Burgundy and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Tasting notes describe a nose of melon, figs, toffee and lemon. The palate offers dried fruit, vanilla, citrus and clover, with a touch of caramel and spice. The finish is long, with light sweetness and oak tannins.
