Teeling Single Malt is an Irish single malt, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The whiskey is matured in a combination of five wine casks: sherry, port, Madeira, Pinot Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. It comes from the Teeling Whiskey Company, founded in Dublin in 1782 by Walter Teeling. The Dublin distillery reopened in 2015.
The nose brings melon, figs, caramel and citrus, with peach and dried fruit. On the palate there are dried fruit, vanilla and cloves, along with further spice and citrus notes. The finish is long, with dry tannins and a hint of oak.
