Teeling – Single Pot Still (70cl, 46%)

This is a single pot still Irish whiskey from Teeling, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered. It is the first Teeling bottling made from spirit distilled at the company's own new distillery, which opened in 2012, rather than at Cooley, its previous distillery. The mash is half malted and half unmalted barley, and the unmalted barley is what makes it a single pot still rather than a single malt.
