Teeling – Small Batch (70cl, 46%)

Teeling Small Batch is an Irish whiskey in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% ABV. Hand-selected casks of grain and malt whiskey are first fully aged in ex-bourbon barrels, then married together in Central American rum casks for up to 12 months, which gives a dried fruit character. The nose is inviting, with vanilla and spice alongside bright, sweet rum notes. The palate shows a clear rum influence, sweet and smooth with a slightly woody edge, and exotic fruit comes through. The finish is sweet and spicy, with lingering woody undertones.
