Teeling – Wonders of Wood Single Pot Still Series 2 (70cl, 50%)

Teeling Wonders of Wood is a single pot still Irish whiskey, and this is the second edition of the series. It is matured in virgin Portuguese oak and bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle by the Teeling Whiskey Company in Dublin. The nose offers ripe red fruits, berries, pears, toasted wood and spice. On the palate come fruit and spice, oak tannins and burnt sugar, and the finish brings honey, spice and a lingering fruity echo.
