Teeling Wonders of Wood - Virgin Swedish Oak (Third Edition) (70cl, 50%)

This is the third edition of Teeling's Wonders of Wood series, a single pot still Irish whiskey from the Teeling Distillery in Dublin. It is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle, without chill filtration or added colour. The whiskey was matured in virgin Swedish oak casks, and the edition is a limited one. The nose is fresh wood and light spice with a little sweetness. On the palate it is full-bodied, balancing spicy oak against a restrained fruitiness. The finish is long and warm, with a slightly smoky note.
