Templeton Reserve 10 Year Rye is a single barrel straight rye whiskey, aged for ten years and bottled at 52% in a 750ml bottle. It was distilled at MGP in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, from a mashbill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley, then matured in charred new American oak.
It was named Rye Whiskey of the Year at the 2025 London Spirits Competition and won a Double Gold Medal at the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
The nose offers dark chocolate, vanilla bean, toasted oak, green apple and dried apricot. On the palate, caramelised figs and chocolate lead into chocolate chip mint and honeyed sweetness, with rye spice building steadily. The finish is long and warming, with butterscotch, charred oak and a little pepper.
