Tequila Ocho Reposado Barrel Proof 2025 “La Mesa” is a reposado tequila made from 100% Blue Weber agave from a single estate in the highlands of Jalisco.
The agave is slow-cooked in traditional ovens and naturally fermented, then rested up to about six months in used American whiskey barrels. It is non-chill filtered and bottled at full barrel proof, with the oak intended to enhance rather than dominate the agave.
The nose has fresh green agave, citrus peel, rosemary, floral notes and light oak spice. The palate is bright and structured, with cooked agave, baking spice, caramel, peach, dark chocolate and white pepper, plus a slightly saline edge. The finish is long, clean and mineral-driven, with lingering spice, citrus and subtle oak.
