The whisky is a marriage of ex-bourbon, Oloroso sherry and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, and forms part of the company's core range.
The nose is woody and outdoorsy, with clove, charred pineapple, peach and nectarine, then creamy vanilla and ashy, meaty peat. The palate has deep sooty smoke, herbaceous peat, mature oak, cashew butter, cured-meat notes and toasted sugar. The finish carries smoke, warming spice and oak.
