The Dalmore 15 Years Old is a Highland whisky from Scotland, in a 75cl bottle at 40% ABV. It was first launched in 2007.
Part of its maturation is 12 years in ex-bourbon casks, and it is also matured in Matusalem, Apostoles and Amoroso sherry casks.
The nose is chocolate orange with orange marmalade, cinnamon, nutmeg, potpourri and sherried fruitcake. On the palate come zesty orange, mandarin, vanilla, stem ginger and a little anise. The finish brings Christmas spice and oak, with malty barley and smoky espresso.
