This is a 10 year old cask strength single malt from The GlenAllachie in Speyside, bottled as Batch 11 at 59.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso, red wine and virgin oak casks, and has a deep chestnut colour.
The nose is rich mocha, heather honey and cinnamon pancakes, with caramelised brown sugar, pears and ginger snaps. On the palate come dark chocolate, toasted honeycomb and molasses, followed by ripe plums, hazelnuts, ginger and red berries.
