The GlenAllachie – 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 10 (70cl, 58.6%)

The GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength is a Speyside single malt, and this is its tenth batch, bottled at 58.6% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. Master Distiller Billy Walker put the batch together from several cask types: Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks, red wine casks and American virgin oak barrels with medium toasting. The first bottling of this expression came about in 2017, when Walker tasted parcels of stock from 2007 and 2008 and chose to add a younger malt to the core range.
