The GlenAllachie – 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 12 (70cl, 59.7%)

This is Batch 12 of The GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength, a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 59.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill filtered. The whisky was matured in a combination of PX, Oloroso, red wine and virgin oak casks, and is described as full-bodied and powerful yet balanced. Tasting notes point to mocha, dark fruits such as figs, cherries and plums, honey, cinnamon and baking spices, and oak, with a smooth, long finish.
