It was matured in a mix of PX, Oloroso, red wine and virgin oak casks, which bring depth and intensity to a full-bodied whisky.
The flavour is described as mocha and dark fruits, including figs, cherries and plums, with honey, cinnamon and baking spices, and oak. The finish is smooth and long.
