The whisky matured in Pedro Ximenez sherry, Oloroso sherry, red wine and American virgin oak casks.
Cherries, chocolate and nuts lead the nose, with spice, oak and coffee behind. The palate follows with cherry liqueur, walnuts, pepper, ginger and wood. The finish is medium in length, with berries, oak and burnt sugar.
