This is a 12 year old Speyside single malt from GlenAllachie, released in mid-2018 after Billy Walker took over the distillery in 2017. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso and virgin oak casks.
The nose brings fried banana, almond, cola cubes and freshly cut oak. On the palate there is stem ginger and sultana, with oily barley and buttery vanilla. The finish is very slightly chocolatey.
