A 12 year old Speyside single malt from GlenAllachie, first released in mid-2018 after Billy Walker took over the distillery in 2017. This bottle carries his signature and holds 70cl at 46% ABV.
The whisky was matured in Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso and virgin oak casks, which together give a profile of fruit, oak and vanilla.
On the nose it is described as fried banana, almond, cola cubes and freshly cut oak. The palate brings stem ginger, sultana, oily barley and buttery vanilla, and the finish is very slightly chocolatey.
