This is a single cask Speyside single malt from The GlenAllachie, taken from a first fill Pedro Ximenez hogshead. The whisky is 12 years old, comes from the 2012 vintage and is bottled at its natural strength of 58.3%. It is a limited edition of 355 bottles, each of 700ml and supplied in a box.
The nose offers dried berries, mocha and heather honey, with cinnamon butter, fresh pineapple and zested orange. On the palate are boozy raisins, crystallised ginger and muscovado sugar, followed by toffee sauce, honeycomb and brandy-soaked orchard fruits.
