This is a 13 year old Speyside single malt from The GlenAllachie, released for Lunar New Year 2026 to mark the Year of the Horse. Master Distiller Billy Walker created it as a multi-wood finish, using Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso and virgin oak casks. It is bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and no chill-filtering.
The colour is polished mahogany. The nose brings orange zest, mocha and warmed molasses, with butterscotch, rich cocoa and cinnamon sticks. On the palate come toasted almonds, honeycomb and maraschino cherries, then candied ginger, Black Forest gâteau, baking spices and blood orange.
