A 15 year old Speyside single malt from GlenAllachie, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It joined the distillery's core range in 2019, and the bottle carries Billy Walker's signature.
After maturation the whisky was given a finishing period in sherry casks, a mix of puncheons and hogsheads that had previously held Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry.
The nose is peanut brittle, dates and a big scoop of chocolate ice cream. On the palate come walnut, raisin, Christmas spices and fresh ginger. The finish offers coffee, Turkish delight and a hint of flaky sea salt.
