This is the 15 year old from The GlenAllachie, a Speyside single malt bottled by the distillery itself. Billy Walker has been involved in running the distillery since 2017. It was matured in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, and is bottled at 46% without chill filtration or added colour.
The nose is sweet, with honey, figs, molasses and dark chocolate, plus a spicy touch of cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate echoes this with dark fruit, chocolate, cinnamon and honey. The finish is long, with orange and ginger.
