This is an 18 year old Speyside single malt from The GlenAllachie, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The spirit matured for 18 years in oak casks and was watched over throughout, until Billy Walker judged it ready.
On the nose there is toffee sauce, cinnamon and fresh vanilla pods, with cocoa, honeycomb and cherries behind them. The palate opens with marzipan, sultanas and dark chocolate, then moves to wild honey, maraschino cherries and buttercream.
