The GlenAllachie 2008 is a 15 year old single cask Speyside single malt, matured in an Oloroso puncheon and bottled at 52.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is an opaque mahogany in colour.
The nose brings dried orchard fruits, leather and toasting tobacco, with honeycomb, ginger and toffee brittle. On the palate come candied orange, heather honey and red berries, then mocha, cinnamon and roasted almonds, with a molasses tart note on the finish.
