This is a 15 year old single cask single malt from The GlenAllachie in Speyside, matured in an Oloroso puncheon and bottled at 52.5% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is an opaque mahogany in colour.
The nose offers dried orchard fruits, leather and toasting tobacco, with honeycomb, ginger and toffee brittle. On the palate come candied orange, heather honey and red berries, followed by mocha, cinnamon and roasted almonds. The finish brings a molasses tart note.
