This is a 9 year old Speyside single malt from The GlenAllachie, finished in former Fino sherry hogshead casks. Fino is the driest style of sherry, aged under a layer of yeast known as flor.
It belongs to The Wood Collection and is bottled at 48%, with natural colour and without chill-filtration, in a 70cl bottle.
The Fino finish brings stewed pear, sugared almonds and vanilla custard.
