The GlenAllachie 9 Year Old is a Speyside single malt finished in Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It is natural colour and non-chill filtered.
Oloroso is a dark, dry sherry style, aged without a flor yeast layer. Maturation in Oloroso butts is described as bringing layers of coffee beans, sticky raisins, stem ginger and figs, working alongside the honey-rich house style of The GlenAllachie.
